Light Winds

Went out with long time fishing friend Mike and his brother-in-law Ray. We had light winds this morning so I headed for grass beds that only gave up 4 trout the day before. The early morning bite was on. We found the trout shallow in 2.5ft of water. I had been catching fish in 3-4ft. We had our 3 man limit on trout by 7:30am. We we’re fishing from the boat with live Croaker. It wasn’t sharks we had trouble with it was Dolphin’s. After we hooked a trout they would try taking the trout off our hook. This has been a problem for a number of years I fell it is from people throwing small trout back and having the Dolphin’s feeding on them. I have been sliding the throw back trout in the water giving them a chance to get a-way.
