I had many reasons for giving thanks this past holiday but the most important one was the fish were biting. The weather was not the best windy, cool and at times rainy. We were drifting through and live shrimp and soft plastic we box trout, redfish, drum, and Sheepshead. The three days of fishing we caught and released at least over 50 trout and 20 reds. We found all the fish in the backlakes over grassy mud in about 2 foot of water.
Saturday morning after the front passed through we had a fog coming off the water, from the coolness in the air dropping the water temperature. This was the best day we had for trout getting a limit on trout averaging 18 to 22 inches
