We started the morning wading shell with an eye on the sky. We boxed A few the weather cleared some so we headed for some grass beds that has been holding some trout. The bite was on we boxed 12 trout in about 30 min then it was time to head for cover. The lightning started hitting around us the skies opened up so we headed for Clark’s to wait it out. Stayed there about an hour and a half tried to fish some more but still got run off the water by lightning and rain decided to call it a day.
Safety is my number one priority no fish is worth getting hurt over.
